LIVEBinance recently announced upcoming wallet maintenance for the Tron network and support for the Zcash hard fork. The Tron maintenance is set for July 23 and will last for about one hour. During this time, users will not be able to deposit or withdraw TRX. The Zcash network update is scheduled for July 28 at block height 3,428,143. Deposits and withdrawals for ZEC will also be paused during this window.
In both instances, the exchange confirmed that token trading will remain active and unaffected. Binance plans to manage all technical requirements for these network changes on behalf of its users. These types of maintenance windows are standard practice and rarely cause long term issues for the assets involved.
Beyond these updates, Binance is removing a handful of spot and margin trading pairs on July 24. The affected spot pairs include ACX/USDC, ALGO/BTC, CVC/USDC, LPT/USDC, ONG/BTC, RVN/USDC, and XRP/BNB. Several margin pairs for tokens like CYBER, DOLO, PIXEL, and STEEM are also being removed. The exchange noted that these moves are intended to protect users and maintain high trading standards.
While these changes have not caused immediate price volatility, users should always keep an eye on how these adjustments affect liquidity. Binance regularly reviews its listed assets to ensure they meet requirements like development activity and trading volume. Traders holding these specific pairs should double check their open positions before the July 24 deadline to avoid any surprises.
