LIVEBitcoin recently reversed course after an early push, sliding by 3 percent over a 24 hour period to briefly touch $63,000. Despite the price weakness, large holders are stepping up their buying activity. Analytics firms report that wallets holding between 10 and 10,000 Bitcoin have added nearly 20,000 tokens over the past eight days. Meanwhile, smaller retail buyers are showing less interest in buying the dip.
Institutional interest is also holding steady, with spot exchange traded funds pulling in over $222 million in July so far. Market analysts note that supply is actively shifting from retail traders into stronger hands. Furthermore, exchange reserves continue to drop, with roughly 78,000 coins leaving trading platforms over the past six months as investors move funds into self custody.
In addition to general whale accumulation, two large institutional wallets recently withdrew more than 6,700 Bitcoin from Binance in a coordinated move. Analysts describe the current market setup as a bullish transition phase similar to previous consolidation cycles. Traders should watch exchange netflows closely in the coming days to see if strong hands maintain control or if selling pressure returns.
