LIVEEven though Bitcoin has traded in a choppy range recently, institutional giant BlackRock refuses to slow down. Through its iShares Bitcoin Trust, the firm purchased assets worth $1.218 billion over the past twenty stock trading days. This heavy buying brings total holdings for the fund to an impressive 786,654 BTC.
Looking closely at the numbers, BlackRock recorded seven days of strong cash inflows totaling $1.515 billion, which easily offset $297.8 million in outflows over six days. This steady accumulation highlights the continuing dominance of BlackRock in the United States spot Bitcoin exchange traded fund sector, driving broader market inflows.
While the wider spot ETF market pulled in a net $956.71 million during this stretch, Bitcoin prices have stayed mostly consolidated. The leading cryptocurrency is currently changing hands near $76,330 following a twenty percent monthly surge. Traders are now watching to see if BlackRock will keep up this buying pace and help spark a fresh leg up for the broader market.
