Bybit Claims Top Spot for Lowest BTC Trading Slippage in Q1 2026

Bybit has released new internal data covering the first quarter of 2026, claiming the lowest slippage for Bitcoin spot trades among major global exchanges. Slippage, which represents the difference between the expected price of a trade and the actual price at execution, is a key concern for traders looking to maximize their returns. Bybit attributes this performance to its Rapid Price Improvement mechanism.

The exchange compared its execution quality against two other major trading platforms for order sizes ranging from $10,000 to $1 million. According to the report, Bybit saw 52% lower slippage than one competitor and 84% lower slippage than another for standard $10,000 orders. These results suggest that the technical structure of the exchange is helping traders get better value on their orders regardless of the size.

The Rapid Price Improvement mechanism works by matching orders against a dedicated liquidity pool that offers prices tighter than those visible on the public order book. Bybit suggests this model provides a better experience for both retail and institutional traders by prioritizing the actual price a user receives over just the displayed liquidity.
