Comcast Sued Over Bizarre Sales Punishments In Connecticut

A Connecticut Comcast store allegedly punished workers who missed sales targets by smashing cream pies into their faces, according to a recent lawsuit filed in the Superior Court of New Haven at Meriden. Former retail sales consultant David Figueroa claims that store management directed top performers to tie underperforming coworkers to a chair in the back office. The complaint states that these incidents were recorded on video by management and tracked using a pie face emoji on a performance chart.

Figueroa left the company shortly after joining and is now seeking compensation for emotional distress and economic losses. The lawsuit accuses Comcast of negligence for failing to properly supervise management and stop the workplace harassment.

Comcast responded by stating that the company maintains a zero tolerance policy for harassment and humiliation. Representatives noted that they disagree with the claims and plan to address the situation through the legal system as the litigation continues.
