CZ Pushes For Unified ASEAN Crypto License

Changpeng Zhao recently suggested that the ASEAN bloc should adopt a passport style crypto licensing system. The goal is to allow companies to operate across multiple member countries without needing to apply for separate approvals in every jurisdiction. This move aims to cut down on the current repetitive and time consuming paperwork required by regional regulators.

While the proposal has generated interest, there is currently no formal framework or official timeline for such a system.
