Flare just hit a major milestone with its new FXRP and RLUSD lending market on Morpho. The platform saw $1 million in RLUSD borrowed against FXRP collateral almost immediately after going live. This move marks the first time XRP based collateral has been accepted in the $280 million Sentora vault on the Ethereum mainnet.

The launch started with a supply cap of 5 million RLUSD, but demand was so high that the full 1 million RLUSD seed amount was borrowed in just hours. Because of this quick start, the team already cleared the path to increase that cap to 9 million RLUSD to keep up with user interest.

This development is significant because it allows XRP holders to access stablecoin liquidity without needing to sell their tokens. By using FXRP as collateral, users can keep their exposure to XRP while participating in Ethereum based lending. With current infrastructure relying on Flare and Chainlink oracles to keep prices accurate, the system is designed to provide a secure environment for this new wave of DeFi activity.

Keep an eye on the supply cap updates in the coming days. If the borrowing trend continues at this speed, the market may hit the new 9 million limit faster than expected. This shows a growing appetite for using XRP within the broader DeFi ecosystem.
