Bitcoin has clawed its way back to around 65,000 dollars, marking a 16 percent recovery from the lows seen earlier this July. Many analysts now argue that the worst of the bear market is over. Market observers point to a break in the ten month downtrend and sustained support at the 63,000 dollar level as signs that the asset is ready for an upward swing.

Institutional interest is providing a strong foundation for this optimism. Spot Bitcoin ETFs have seen five days of consecutive inflows, forcing issuers to purchase more supply from the open market. Additionally, whale activity has increased significantly, with large holders adding to their stacks. Some bold forecasts even suggest prices could reach 400,000 dollars within a year.

However, the market is not without its skeptics. One major corporate holder recently sold part of its stash, breaking a long streak of only buying. Traders are also wary of historical trends, as August has been a difficult month for the price in the past. Veteran trader Peter Brandt recently noted that he is leaning toward further declines, reminding investors that the market still carries plenty of risk.
