LIVEKuCoin is reviving its Spotlight platform with the introduction of Gno.land, a Layer 1 smart contract network. The exchange is offering 7,751,938 GNOT tokens at a price of $0.0645 each. This event marks a change in how the platform handles token distributions, moving away from lottery systems toward a pro rata model.
Under this new structure, users who commit funds will receive an allocation based on the total amount they subscribe. Participants can use KCS, USDT, or the newly added USDG. Those paying with KCS can access discounts of up to 10 percent, and the system allows for the use of flexibly staked KCS without the need to unstake assets first.
To provide more security for participants, KuCoin has introduced an optional conditional buyback mechanism. If users opt in, they may qualify for a buyback at the original subscription price if specific conditions are met during the first week of trading. This feature is intended to offer an added layer of protection as the asset moves onto the public market.
Gno.land serves as an open source platform built on the Gno language, which is a version of Go specifically for on chain applications. The GNOT token will be used for network operations such as contract execution, storage deposits, and cross chain interactions. Traders should monitor the KuCoin platform for the final schedule and official terms regarding this listing.
