LIVECrypto trader Machi Big Brother currently holds $151.17 million in leveraged long positions on Hyperliquid. This strategy relies on an account value of about $5.95 million, meaning the trader is using significant leverage to power his trades. Data shows positions in Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Hyperliquid tokens with no short positions to offset the risk.
The largest portion of the portfolio is Ethereum, accounting for $100 million at 25x leverage. Bitcoin positions total $44.14 million at 40x leverage, while the Hyperliquid token makes up the remaining $7.03 million. Despite the massive size of these bets, recent price action has been mixed.
Only the Ethereum position is currently profitable, contributing roughly $1.2 million to the account. Bitcoin and Hyperliquid trades are struggling as their respective asset prices have dipped over the past week. Bitcoin dropped 2.5 percent, and Hyperliquid fell by 7.3 percent.
Market participants are watching these positions closely as the Federal Reserve prepares for a meeting on September 16. Interest rate adjustments often influence risk assets like crypto, and high leverage could lead to rapid liquidations if market volatility increases. For now, Machi Big Brother remains fully exposed to the upside.
