Robinhood CEO X Account Hacked to Shill Fake Memecoin

The X account of Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev was compromised on Thursday. Hackers used the account to promote a fake memecoin called Vladhood, or VLAD, falsely claiming it was the official mascot of the company and would soon be listed on the trading app.

Robinhood quickly confirmed the hack through its official communications account. Tenev regained access to his profile shortly after and issued a clear warning to users. He confirmed that the company has not issued any tokens and urged his followers to exercise caution when dealing with unexpected promotions.
