LIVESpace Exploration Technologies Corp is getting ready to drop its very first earnings report as a publicly traded company on August 4. Just two days later, a massive wave of locked shares will enter the market. Around 20 percent of locked stock, which totals roughly 911.5 million shares, will hit the tradable float on August 6, 2026. An extra tranche of about 455.8 million shares might also become available on the exact same date if the stock price trades high enough before the earnings release.
At recent prices around $128.97, this upcoming August wave is valued at more than $175 billion. More shares are scheduled to unlock later in August and September. Meanwhile, Elon Musk and his 6.4 billion shares are locked up safely until June 2027 with no early release options available. Only a small portion of the total 13 billion shares is currently active in the public float.
This flood of new shares could bring extra selling pressure to the table, especially since the stock has pulled back more than 36 percent from its all time high. Even though Wall Street analysts maintain positive long term views, traders should expect some serious short term price swings as the market absorbs the new supply.
