STIIIZY has agreed to a $2.95 million settlement after a data breach in late 2024 compromised the personal and health information of its customers. The lawsuit claimed that the company failed to keep customer data safe, leading to unauthorized access and potential identity theft. While STIIIZY denies any wrongdoing, they chose this settlement to avoid the time and cost of a long court battle.

The settlement covers anyone whose private information was stolen during the security incident reported in January 2025. People who lived in California at the time are eligible for higher payments than those in other states. Victims who can prove they suffered documented financial losses may receive up to $7,500, and everyone in the class is eligible for free credit monitoring services.

If you were affected by this incident, the deadline to file a claim is September 10th. If you prefer to opt out or object to the settlement, you must do so by August 26th. A final hearing to approve the agreement is scheduled for October 19th.
