Bitcoin treasury firm Strive expanded its holdings by purchasing 20 BTC in the final week of July. The coins were acquired at an average price of roughly $63,191, bringing the total treasury balance from 20,000 up to 20,020 BTC. Cash reserves dropped from $154 million down to $151.3 million over the same period.

Even though the total coin count increased, gross Bitcoin exposure per effective common share actually slipped by about 0.03%. The drop happened because the company issued 110,000 new Class A shares, which caused the total share count to grow faster than the new Bitcoin additions. Fully diluted exposure per share dropped from roughly 23,069 satoshis down to 23,063 satoshis.

Growing Bitcoin per share has been a stated long term goal for the firm since January. This recent dip highlights a growing challenge for crypto treasuries that issue new stock to fund operations or purchases, as dilution can outpace coin accumulation. Traders should watch how corporate treasury strategies manage share issuance versus actual asset backing in upcoming reports.
