LIVEAsset management firm T. Rowe Price has launched its first crypto exchange traded fund on the NYSE Arca. Trading under the ticker TKNZ, the fund gives investors exposure to a variety of digital assets rather than focusing on a single coin.
The ETF holds a mix of major digital currencies. Bitcoin currently makes up roughly 41 percent of the portfolio, while Ethereum accounts for about 18 percent. Other assets included in the fund are Solana, XRP, Hyperliquid, Dogecoin, and BNB. This structure aims to simplify crypto investing by letting professional managers handle the asset selection.
This launch marks a shift for the firm as it looks to expand its digital asset offerings. By providing a traditional stock exchange product, the company hopes to attract investors who want exposure to crypto without the complexity of managing private keys or digital wallets.
Analysts note that major financial institutions continue to build in the crypto space despite market fluctuations. With the regulatory environment becoming more favorable, this ETF could be the first of several products released by the firm to help integrate digital assets into mainstream investment portfolios.
