LIVEUS spot Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange traded funds just had their strongest week of inflows since April. Investors poured more than $1 billion into these regulated products, signaling a significant return in market appetite. Bitcoin funds alone secured $853.54 million, while Ethereum ETFs added another $244.94 million to their own recovery streak.
BlackRock dominated the activity throughout the week. Its iShares Bitcoin Trust and iShares Ethereum Trust together accounted for about $896 million of the total inflow. This concentration shows that the world largest asset manager is currently the primary driver for institutional capital entering the crypto space through these regulated vehicles.
The timing of these inflows coincides with renewed concerns over self custody security after a hardware wallet breach. Industry observers are debating whether this event is pushing risk averse investors toward the institutional safety nets provided by big financial firms. While there is no direct link yet, the preference for Wall Street products over individual storage is becoming harder to ignore.
Looking ahead, traders should monitor whether this momentum continues or if it was just a temporary spike. With Bitcoin and Ethereum both seeing consistent inflows, the market is currently showing a clear preference for exposure through traditional financial channels over the recent summer slump.
