Solana Summit Serbia Brings Global Finance to Belgrade

Belgrade will host the upcoming Solana Summit Serbia on August 26 and 27 at the Sava Centar. This event marks a significant push to bridge the gap between traditional finance and blockchain technology. Organizers expect over 1,000 attendees to join 50 speakers from various sectors including banking, technology, and academia.

The summit agenda focuses on the practical side of crypto adoption, covering topics like digital asset regulation and payment infrastructure. Attendees will hear from representatives at major companies such as Microsoft and Raiffeisen Bank, alongside blockchain firms like the Solana Foundation and Jito. The program also features workshops and a startup pitch competition designed to highlight emerging talent in the Balkan region.

Marko Djurdjevic, the CEO of Superteam Balkan, noted that the event is unique for bringing government officials and university professors together with crypto entrepreneurs.
