Strive just expanded its crypto reserves by buying another 469 bitcoins at an average price of roughly $77,954. This latest purchase brings the company treasury to a total of 25,000 bitcoins, which is worth nearly $2 billion at current market rates. CEO Matt Cole shared that the purchase was funded entirely by capital raised through the sale of the company perpetual preferred stock.

Following the announcement, shares of the Dallas based firm traded more than 6 percent higher. Strive currently stands as the fifth largest publicly traded bitcoin treasury company. Competitors like Strategy, Twenty One, Metaplanet, and MARA still hold larger amounts of the leading cryptocurrency in their corporate reserves.

Unlike many other corporate holders, Strive operates with a completely debt free balance sheet. The company avoids bonds, credit lines, and risky margin positions that could force liquidations during market downturns. Investors often look to Strive stock as a way to gain indirect exposure to bitcoin price movements without taking on direct custody risks.
