LIVEPowerCompute is holding off on selling its Bitcoin treasury thanks to a clever loan restructuring. The company refinanced three older loans into an $18.13 million collar loan with Arch Lending at an initial rate of 2 percent. This setup gives the firm breathing room because daily price swings will not trigger margin calls or liquidations before the first check in date on September 2.
Instead of watching the charts every hour, the risk comes down to a monthly decision. On September 2, a reference price check will test the loan against a floor of $58,860 and a ceiling of $66,370. If the price drops below the floor, PowerCompute can let the lender keep the pledged 307 Bitcoin to settle the debt completely, or pay off the balance to get the coins back. If the price goes above the ceiling, the upside is capped, and the lender takes the excess appreciation.
This structure shows how institutional crypto borrowing is evolving past traditional terms. By replacing high interest debt with a low starting rate, PowerCompute swapped daily stress for a monthly deadline. Traders should keep an eye on Bitcoin prices as September approaches, because the outcome of this reset will set the tone for how similar corporate crypto treasuries manage their leverage.
